Trays are my thing!

I can't pass up a tray when I see it, especially in thrift stores.
Here's one I bought for $1...

I forgot to take a "before" shot, but it was painted an ugly green!
I simply Mod Podged this flag scrapbook paper on to the tray and covered the handles with twine for a little extra cuteness.
So easy!
Have a Happy 4th of July! Hope to see you back here this Friday for our Summertime Link Party!!!

  6. It's so good to hear somebody else is a tray fanatic. I too can't pass one up even if I had one just like it, go figure. I love to rotate them with seasonal decos or whatever else pops into my head when I get an urge to change a display. I can be sitting on couch or go into another room and have to change something. Keeps me from getting bored with our little mfg. home that we're in all the time. I get bored with things the same for too long.
LOve your tray with the flag paper on it.
I have a tray I've been trying to decide what I'm going to do to change it. It got some water damage on bottom so need to repair that, then decide how I'll decorate it. I have to let something sit for awhile til I get an inspiration. LOve your blog.
